Job Description

You are a dynamic and results-oriented Institutional Sales Manager with a background in hotel sales or hospitality product sales. Your primary responsibility will be to expand the institutional client base, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, corporate accounts, and other hospitality institutions. This role suits a professional who has experience as a Sales Representative in hotel sales and is prepared to transition to strategic account management and team leadership. Your tasks will involve identifying, targeting, and acquiring institutional clients such as hotel chains, resorts, event venues, and corporate partners. You will utilize existing industry relationships to develop a strong sales pipeline. In terms of account management, you will be required to nurture and expand relationships with key accounts by understanding their needs and offering customized solutions. Regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations will be essential components of your role. As an Institutional Sales Manager, you will need to formulate and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities will allow you to adjust your strategies accordingly. Collaboration with internal teams, including product, marketing, and logistics, is crucial to ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction. If applicable, you may also be involved in mentoring or supervising junior sales representatives. Your qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality sector, preferably with hotels or suppliers to hotels. Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities are essential. Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, Zoho, and the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience in selling hospitality products or services such as F&B, amenities, housekeeping solutions, hotel tech, or operational supplies is a plus. An existing network within hotel procurement or operations departments is also beneficial.
