Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Institutional Sales Manager to spearhead the expansion of our baby food products into hospitals, pharmacies, and institutional settings at Rorosaur Foodtech Private Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing product placements within hospital chains nationwide, airports, targeting both in-house and branded pharmacies, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders such as doctors and hospital administrators. Additionally, this role involves identifying and acquiring new institutional buyers, including restaurants and hotels, to incorporate our baby-friendly food options into their menus. This position demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of driving sales growth and enhancing brand visibility in the institutional market. A Diploma in any stream coupled with 0-3 years' experience in sales is a must. The essential skills include communication and negotiation. Roles & Responsibilities:

Institutional Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and target key hospitals and healthcare institutions for product placement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to secure product listings in hospital pharmacies and in-house stores.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including hospital administrators, doctors, and pharmacists.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the institutional baby food sector.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with institutional buyers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.

Key Account Management

  • Develop and implement account-specific marketing programs to drive product awareness and sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase product penetration within existing accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships with hospital chains and institutional clients.

New Business Acquisition

  • Collaborate with marketing team to create targeted campaigns for specific institutional segments.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to showcase the quality and benefits of Rorosaur's baby food products.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network with potential clients and generate leads.
  • Promote baby-friendly food options to institutional buyers to expand product reach and market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the restaurant, hotel, and catering sectors/airports.

Sales Reporting and Analysis

  • Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and generate reports.
  • Provide feedback to product development team on customer preferences and market needs.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and track progress against targets.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with quality assurance team to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to baby food safety and labeling.
