Role Overview

Head Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement supply chain strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Develop SCM policies and ensure compliance for smooth, efficient operations.
• Oversee procurement planning, demand forecasting, and coordination with production teams.
• Ensure timely completion of quality and supply agreements with all material suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and vendors.
• Evaluate projects to enhance cost efficiency and quality outcomes.
• Drive price negotiations, finalization, and approval processes.
• Conduct risk assessments of single-source materials and implement business de-risking strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams(R&D, RA, QA, QC, Manufacturing, Finance).
• Prepare and manage annual and ad hoc budgets.
• Submit MIS reports and other management updates in a timely manner.
• Enhance vendor performance, optimize credit terms, and identify new sources, markets, and vendors.
• Monitor and optimize inventory, ensuring control of non-moving stock in collaboration with planning, R&D, regulatory, and production teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent discipline
1520 years of proven experience in supply chain management within the pharmaceutical or related industries
