Inside Sales Engineer

As an Inside Sales Engineer at UL Automation Systems Pvt. Ltd., your role will involve handling new business inquiries, communicating with customers to understand project targets and technical needs, and processing customer purchase orders promptly and accurately. You will be responsible for tracking open sales orders, coordinating with vendors for new product development, pricing, and costing, and negotiating the best combination of price, quality, and delivery in line with company guidelines. Key Responsibilities include: - Handling and responding to new business inquiries and tracking customer feedback through to order conversion - Communicating with customers via email and phone to understand project targets and technical needs - Processing customer purchase orders promptly and accurately - Tracking open sales orders and taking necessary actions to complete transactions - Coordinating with vendors for new product development, pricing, and costing - Negotiating the best combination of price, quality, and delivery in line with company guidelines - Drafting and finalizing sales and service agreements - Offering customized technical solutions as per client project requirements - Maintaining and updating key operational trackers like booking, stock, and dispatch sheets - Conducting monthly stock reviews and ensuring timely booking of orders - Collaborating with the external sales team to meet and exceed collective targets - Generating leads, providing pre-sales technical support, and coordinating proposals - Assisting in establishing new business opportunities and partnerships - Managing and supporting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) workflows - Maintaining supplier documentation and ensuring records are updated regularly - Monitoring and reporting key performance metrics to optimize cost and improve efficiency Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in E&TC, Electrical, or Electronics - An MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage UL Automation Systems Pvt.
