Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Industrial Enginee r to design, optimize, and implement a high-efficiency assembly line for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of process optimization, lean manufacturing, and automation to enhance productivity and reduce costs while ensuring high product quality . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize assembly line layouts and workflows for improved efficiency and throughput. Analyze current manufacturing processes and recommend improvements using lean principles, Six Sigma, and time-motion studies. Evaluate and select equipment, tools, and automation solutions for the assembly process. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for assembly line operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance to implement process improvements. Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production processes to enhance efficiency. Implement ergonomic and safety improvements to enhance worker comfort and minimize risks. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed assembly line changes and automation investments. Use data analytics and simulation tools to model production scenarios and predict performance outcomes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, defect rates, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and improvements. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) for layout design. Proficiency in manufacturing simulation tools (Arena, FlexSim, or equivalent) is a plus. Hands-on experience with automation and industrial robotics is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Experie nce: 3-5 years of experience in home appliances, electronics or automotive companies Working knowledge of ERP and MES systems for production planning.
