Industrial Engineer

Role & responsibilities

To improve production efficiency, optimize manpower utilization, standardize operations, and implement productivity improvement techniques across the garment manufacturing process while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Production Analysis & Improvement

• Conduct

  time and motion studies

  to establish

  Standard Minute Value (SMV)

  for each operation.
• Analyze

  bottlenecks

  ,

  line balancing

  , and

  operator performance

  to improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Recommend and implement methods to

  reduce non-value-added activities

  and

  increase productivity

• Monitor and improve

  machine utilization

  and

  operator efficiency

  .

2. Process Optimization

• Develop

  standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  for all production activities.
• Identify

  wastage and rework

  areas and propose

  cost reduction

  initiatives.
• Assist in layout planning for

  new production lines

  , ensuring optimal material flow and space utilization.
• Support implementation of

  Lean Manufacturing

  ,

  5S

  ,

  Kaizen

  Continuous Improvement (CI)

  projects.

3. Performance Monitoring

• Track

  daily production efficiency

  reports.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure targets are met.

  and recommend manpower optimization.
• Analyze style changeover time and implement reduction techniques.
  

4. Costing & Planning Support

• Provide accurate SMV and productivity data for

  costing new styles
