Monitor the employees on site and ensure they are always working safely Remain present and monitor safety during critical heavy work like crane operation, MFM lifting, BMS, EQ buoy installation, high pressure tests etc on-site and in workshops. Makes daily spot checks and inspections of work tools, equipment at site and take necessary corrective actions. Ensures that all employees comply with health and safety requirements of the organization like wearing appropriate conditioned PPE. Report and help the HSE Manager to investigate unsafe actions and near-misses Perform dynamic risk assessment on the spot and improve safe conditions of working. Stop work when the situation is found to be risky and inform all concerned. Onsite consult with workers and subcontractors and arrives at a best solution to deliver a safe working environment for all workers. Ensure that all employees abide by the health and safety rules existing at the yard Part of daily briefing is also to impart to all teams about the emergency action plans of the site. Sets up safety signs and signages at the designated place and ensures they are visible enough for all employees to visualize for example, Battery pit intervention. To have a daily check of the emergency services at standby at the dry dock/ normal conditions. Skills: Diploma in Safety /Any Graduate, IOSH / NEBOSH / ADIS or Fire & Safety Course 4 - 6 years of experience Knowledge of safety rules and regulations. Experience with hot work, confined space, and height safety. Skilled in risk assessments, audits and incident reporting. Good Communication and training skills. Familiar with PPE, permit systems and emergency procedure.
