Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for technical and non-technical positions including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and support staff
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and create compelling job descriptions
  • Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate technical interviews with department heads
  • Manage the complete hiring process from job posting to onboarding

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution
  • Conduct regular employee engagement surveys and implement improvement initiatives
  • Facilitate performance management processes including goal setting, reviews, and development planning
  • Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans
  • Organize team building activities and company-wide events to foster positive workplace culture

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development allowances
  • Process payroll changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect industry best practices
  • Ensure workplace safety compliance and manage workers' compensation claims

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate technical certification programs for IT staff
  • Manage professional development budgets and approve conference/training requests
  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new hires including technical orientation
  • Support career development planning and internal mobility opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in IT/technology companies
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
  • Experience recruiting for technical positions (developers, engineers, IT specialists)
  • Knowledge of technology industry trends and compensation benchmarks
  • Experience with remote work policies and distributed team management
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and project-based work environments

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Experience with HR software platforms (Workday, BambooHR, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of IT terminology and technical roles
  • Social media recruiting and professional networking platforms
