Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Duties

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for various positions.
  • Utilize ATS systems such as Lever, iCIMS, or Taleo to track applicants and streamline the hiring process.
  • Conduct technical recruiting for specialized roles and executive recruiting for leadership positions.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to enhance employee development and retention.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture.
  • Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws while managing employee relations issues.
  • Collaborate with department managers on succession planning and internal recruiting efforts.
  • Utilize social media management tools to promote job openings and enhance employer branding.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and provide feedback to support professional growth.
  • Assist in training and development initiatives to foster a skilled workforce.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources, with a focus on recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decisions effectively.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, or Kronos is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for relationship management.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Experience in campus recruitment and cold calling for lead generation is a plus.
  • Proficient in research techniques to identify potential candidates through various channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
