Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role for a Human Resources Manager located in Surat. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, and HR policy enforcement. Daily tasks include developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, providing support for employee developwment programs, and managing performance review cycles. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining HR records, promoting organizational culture, and facilitating open communication across teams.


Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Corporate Recruitment

  • Handle hiring for staff, mid-level managers, designers, merchandisers, sourcing specialists, QA/QC teams, accounts, admin, HR, and operational roles.
  • Take full ownership of JD creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer rollout, and onboarding.

2. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Building

  • Use Naukri, LinkedIn, recruitment agencies, referrals, and campus recruiting.
  • Build a strong, continuous pipeline for critical roles like designers, merchandisers, sourcing executives, QA leads, operations managers, etc.
  • Maintain a

    30–60–90 day hiring forecast

    aligned with business growth.

3. Interview Management & Evaluation

  • Conduct first-level HR screening, competency evaluation, salary fitment checks, and culture fit assessments.
  • Coordinate technical interviews with department heads.
  • Ensure that only high-quality candidates reach the final stage.

4. HR Processes, Documentation & Onboarding

  • Issue offer letters, maintain employee records, and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Ensure timely documentation, verification, and background checks.
  • Design structured onboarding plans for new hires.

5. Employer Branding & Talent Projects

  • Strengthen Zillion Export’s brand presence across industry groups and job portals.
  • Drive initiatives to attract top talent and retain high performers.
  • Maintain updated recruitment dashboards and analytics.

6. Internal Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with department heads to understand manpower needs and job requirements.
  • Provide weekly hiring status updates to management.
  • Maintain strict adherence to hiring timelines and SLAs.



Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–7 years

    of experience exclusively in recruitment / talent acquisition.
  • Experience hiring for garment/textile/fashion/e-commerce organizations is a strong advantage.
  • Strong sourcing skills — LinkedIn search, Naukri Boolean search, headhunting.
  • Ability to hire for 15–25 roles simultaneously with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interview skills, and candidate evaluation capabilities.
  • Strong discipline, follow-up skills, and ownership-driven work style.
  • High speed of execution; must be able to close roles quickly.



Performance Expectations (Non-Negotiable)

  • Close all open roles within committed timelines (15–45 days depending on level).
  • Maintain a minimum 80–90% offer acceptance rate for selected candidates.
  • Ensure zero delays in onboarding for approved positions.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment dashboards and weekly reports.
  • Remove dependency on external agencies by strengthening in-house sourcing.
  • Ensure top-quality hires who stay long time in company (low attrition for new hires).
