Role Description

business-oriented HR Manager

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in

    performance management, KPI design, and people systems

  • Proven exposure to

    manufacturing or engineering-driven organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams including design, sales, and shop-floor staff
  • Solid understanding of

    Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR governance

  • Experience driving

    organizational change, discipline, and accountability

  • Ability to coach and influence managers on people and performance decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and translate it into action
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High ownership mindset with maturity to handle difficult conversations and decisions

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement

    role-based KPIs

    and performance assessment frameworks
  • Establish and drive

    monthly and quarterly performance reviews

  • Enable managers with effective people-management, feedback, and accountability practices
  • Drive ownership, discipline, and productivity across a mixed workforce (engineers & shop floor)
  • Partner with leadership on organization structure, talent decisions, and capability building
  • Lead hiring processes with a focus on quality, attitude, and cultural fit
  • Develop and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and governance systems
  • Drive employee retention, engagement, and culture aligned to business goals
  • Ensure statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and HR documentation
  • Act as a change agent during system, process, and mindset transitions
