Human Resources Manager

ModernDay is a creative marketing and design agency working across industries such as EV, real estate, interiors, lifestyle, and technology. We’re a fast-growing team that values creativity, collaboration, and culture. As we scale, we are looking for a Human Resources Manager to build and lead our HR function, ensuring a great employee experience while aligning people strategies with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the hiring process end-to-end, from sourcing talent to onboarding new employees.
• Employee Relations: Act as the point of contact for employees, handling queries, grievances, and ensuring a positive workplace culture.
• Performance Management: Develop appraisal systems, KPIs, and support managers in reviewing and improving team performance.
• Policies & Compliance: Draft and update HR policies, ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, and maintain employee records.
• Learning & Development: Identify training needs and organize sessions to upskill employees.
• Payroll & Benefits: Oversee payroll, leaves, attendance, and benefits administration.
• Culture & Engagement: Plan team activities, workshops, and engagement programs to nurture a strong, creative, and collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA in HR preferred).
• 1–2 years of proven HR management experience, ideally in a creative/marketing/agency setup.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
• High sense of confidentiality, empathy, and fairness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
