1. Skill Requirements


  • Digital & Technical Proficiency:

    Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), and understanding of IT/digital processes. Awareness of mobile app development workflows and technical terminology is crucial.
  • Talent Acquisition & Management:

     Proven skills in recruiting, especially for IT profiles such as developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and product managers. Experience with high-volume tech hiring and evaluating technical fit.
  • Employee Engagement:

     Ability to design and implement engagement strategies suited for digital and developer teams, optimising for hybrid/remote settings.
  • Performance Management:

     Strong grasp of modern performance appraisal methods, KPIs for tech teams, and incentive structures relevant for IT/product roles.
  • Compliance & Labor Law:

     Up-to-date knowledge of IT industry-specific regulations, data protection laws, and e-commerce compliance requirements.
  • Analytical & Data Skills:

    Ability to analyse HR metrics, workforce trends, and use tools to generate actionable insights.
  • Change Management:

    Experience guiding teams through digital transformation, agile adoption, or rapid scaling typical in technology environments.
  • Communication & Interpersonal:

    Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical employees.
  • Leadership & Strategic Thinking:

    Capability to align HR strategies with business goals, lead HR projects, and manage/mentor HR staff.


2. Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualification:

     Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, IT, or related field.
  • Preferred:

     Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) with a specialisation in Human Resources or IT Management.
  • Certifications:

     Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are highly valued, as is evidence of continuous upskilling—especially in digital HR, data analytics, or tech recruitment.



3. Experience Requirements

  • General Experience:

     2 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1 years in a managerial or lead HR role.
  • Relevant Sector Experience:

    Direct HR experience in IT companies, e-commerce firms, or organisations with significant mobile app development operations.
  • Specific Experience:

     Hands-on exposure to recruiting IT professionals, managing HR for digital/tech teams, or supporting the talent needs of a fast-growing mobile or e-commerce business.
  • Desirable:

     Evidence of supporting high-growth or startup environments and familiarity with agile and remote team management best practices
