Job Description

Role Overview:

NMG Technologies is looking to grow its Human Resource team for which a HR Generalist has a critical role. The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the organization. They will handle various HR functions, ensuring the effective implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to support the overall goals and objectives of the company. The HR Generalist will collaborate with management and employees to create a positive work environment and foster employee engagement and productivity.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conduct investigations when necessary.
  • Promote and maintain a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.


2. Performance Management:

  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters.
  • Identify training and development needs and assist in creating and implementing training programs.


3. Compensation and Benefits:

  • Assist in administering the compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, promotions, and benefits enrollment.
  • Conduct research on market trends to ensure competitive compensation and benefit structures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.


4. Policy Implementation and Compliance:

  • Ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in developing and updating HR policies and employee handbooks.


5. HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and training records.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.


Required Candidate Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Experience in multiple HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compensation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR software.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
