Role OverviewAs the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will act as a strategic liaison between the HR function and business operations. You will align people strategy with business objectives, drive HR initiatives, and be a trusted advisor to leadership and employees alike. Your focus will be on employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and fostering a culture aligned with the values of La Forêt. Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnering Collaborate with department heads to understand and address workforce needs. Align HR practices with the business goals of La Forêt’s educational initiatives. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Oversee recruitment processes to attract top educators and operational staff. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience to instill company culture from day one. Employee Engagement & Culture Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to educators and administrative staff. Act as a cultural ambassador promoting inclusivity, innovation, and purpose. Performance & Development Implement and manage performance management systems (KPIs, reviews, feedback). Identify learning & development needs; design internal training or recommend external ones. Compliance & HR Operations Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws and educational board standards. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data privacy. Conflict Resolution & Employee Relations Act as a trusted confidant and problem-solver in workplace matters. Manage grievance redressal and disciplinary action in a fair, transparent manner. Organizational Development Partner with leadership to plan org structures, define roles, and support change management. Provide insights from HR analytics to support leadership decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications MBA in HR or equivalent qualification. 3–7 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP; education sector experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. High emotional intelligence and problem-solving ability. Comfortable in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Preferred AttributesExperience working in a startup or early-stage educational venture. Passion for education and impact-driven work.
