Job Title: Account ManagerCompany: Hughes & Hughes Chem LimitedExperience Required: 3-6 yearsEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentIndustry: Petrochemical / Plastics / RubberDepartment: Finance & AccountingRole Category: Accounting & TaxationHughes & Hughes Chem Limited is seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding financial requirements, and ensuring seamless communication between the company and clients.This role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, account retention, and identifying growth opportunities.Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
  • Manage end-to-end client account activities, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication and service excellence
  • Understand client needs and align company products and financial solutions accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, logistics, finance) to ensure effective fulfillment of client requirements
  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts or discrepancies and resolve them proactively
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to account transactions, inventory movements, and account status
  • Act as a point of contact for customer complaints and resolve issues promptly by coordinating with relevant departments
  • Analyze client data and transaction trends to identify opportunities for upselling or process improvements
  • Stay informed of industry trends, customer behaviors, and market shifts that may impact client relationships
  • Serve as a client advocate within the company, representing their needs and feedback in internal discussions
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and internal accounting policies during account handling and documentation
  • Assist in periodic audits, MIS reports, and compliance documentation

Required Skillsets

  • Proven experience in client account management, financial operations, or taxation (preferably in Petrochemicals/Plastics/Rubber industry)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and reconciliation processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems
  • Strong data analysis skills with working knowledge of MS Excel, reporting tools, and inventory tracking
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
  • High attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Understanding of industry-specific compliance and financial degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Additional certifications (e., CA, CMA, or MBA Finance) will be a plus
