Hub Manager

Job Summary:The Hub Incharge will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the hub, ensuring smooth first-mile and last-mile logistics, manpower management, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:Manage overall hub operations, including inbound, outbound, and last-mile delivery. Supervise hub staff, delivery associates, and support teams to ensure efficiency. Plan, monitor, and achieve daily dispatch and delivery targets. Ensure timely arrival, sorting, and dispatch of shipments. Maintain proper documentation, MIS reports, and operational records. Handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly. Optimize manpower, vehicles, and other resources to control cost and improve productivity. Monitor performance metrics (TAT, delivery percentage, exceptions, returns, etc.). Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements. Build coordination with vendors, clients, and cross-functional teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance hub performance. Key Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and people management skills. Good knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and last-mile operations. Problem-solving and decision-making ability. Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Qualification & Experience:Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred). 3–7 years of experience in logistics/operations (last-mile delivery experience preferred). Prior experience in managing a team and handling hub operations.
