Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment and On boarding o Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all roles within the firm, ensuring a smooth, efficient process. o Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions. o Coordinate the on boarding process, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the firm. 2. Employee Relations and Performance Management o Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns, addressing any conflicts or issues that arise within the workplace. o Conduct regular performance reviews and assist managers in developing employee performance improvement plans. o Foster a positive workplace culture by providing guidance on employee engagement and morale. 3. Compensation and Benefits o Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive within the industry. o Monitor and review salary structures, bonuses, and benefits packages. o Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and tax regulations. 4. Training and Development o Identify training and development needs across the firm and facilitate learning opportunities. o Coordinate internal and external training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities. o Ensure legal and regulatory compliance training is up to date. 5. 6. 7. HR Strategy and Planning o Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the firm. o Prepare reports for senior management on HR activities, employee performance, and other relevant metrics. o Provide advice and support to leadership on HR-related matters and long-term HR planning. 8. HR Systems and Administration o Oversee and manage HR software and systems, ensuring proper record-keeping and reporting. o Maintain employee records in compliance with legal and firm-specific requirements. o Ensure the accurate administration of payroll and benefits. Skills & Competencies Organizational skills : Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Attention to detail : Ensure all HR practices and policies are implemented with precision. Leadership and influence : Ability to lead initiatives and influence change within the firm. Discretion : Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
