HR Manager – Manufacturing & Compliance

About the Role


We are seeking an HR Manager with strong experience in managing HR operations in a manufacturing setup. This role requires a mix of labour law expertise, compliance handling, and people management – from factory floor operators to senior management. The HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, smooth workforce management, and employee well-being.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure compliance with Haryana Factory Act, Labour Laws, ESI, PF, Minimum Wages, Overtime, Bonus, and Gratuity.
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations for factory staff: attendance, payroll, shift scheduling, overtime tracking, leave management.
  • Handle recruitment and onboarding – from shop-floor operators to managerial positions.
  • Drive employee engagement, welfare, and grievance redressal to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Liaise with government authorities and labour inspectors for statutory compliance and audits.
  • Maintain records, registers, and filings as per statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate training and skill-development programs for workers and staff.
  • Support management in workforce planning, manpower budgeting, and HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety norms and support facility audits.


Must-Have Skills


  • Strong knowledge of ESI, PF, Factory Law, and Labour Law specific to Haryana.
  • Proven HR experience in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
  • Hands-on with overtime/attendance systems and payroll management.
  • Ability to handle both blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
  • Excellent compliance documentation and government liaison skills.


Good-to-Have Skills


  • Exposure to HRMS software for attendance and payroll automation.
  • Experience in ISO/OSH audits and compliance certifications.
  • Understanding of employee welfare programs in industrial setups.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.


Eligibility


  • Education: MBA/PGDM in HR, or Master’s in Labour & Social Welfare/IR.
  • Experience: 7–10 years in HR for manufacturing companies (preferably in Haryana).
