Job Title: HR Manager Location: Bangalore Experience Required: 1015 years Industry: Jewellery Manufacturing / Precious Metals / Luxury Goods Job Summary The HR Manager will lead the complete HR function for a jewellery manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth workforce management, compliance, talent development, and strong people practices. The ideal candidate must have deep experience in managing HR operations for manufacturing setupspreferably jewellery, gems & jewellery, precision manufacturing, or related industries. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Strategy & Planning Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals for the manufacturing facility. ¢ Support workforce planning, budgeting, and manpower forecasting. Drive HR automation and process improvements. 2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition ¢ ¢ ¢ Lead end-to-end recruitment for skilled artisans, karigars, production staff, supervisors, and corporate roles. Collaborate with production heads to understand skill requirements for jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, polishing, QC, etc.). Partner with training institutes and karigar networks for talent pipelines. 3. Training & Development ¢ Design skill development programs specifically for jewellery artisans and manufacturing staff. ¢ Conduct leadership development programs for supervisors and line managers.

Ensure continuous learning and craft enhancement initiatives. 4. Employee Relations & Engagement ¢ ¢ ¢ Maintain a positive workplace culture and ensure strong employee connect. Manage grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters. Organize engagement initiatives, welfare programs, and retention strategies for artisans. 5. Performance Management ¢ ¢ ¢ Implement performance review cycles tailored to manufacturing KPIs. Guide managers in goal setting and performance discussions. Drive productivity improvement initiatives across teams. 6. Compliance & Industrial Relations ¢ Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, factory laws, EHS norms, and statutory requirements. ¢ ¢ Manage audits, documentation, and liaison with external authorities. Handle contractor workforce, attendance systems, and labour welfare activities. 7. Compensation & Benefits ¢ ¢ ¢ Oversee payroll inputs, salary structures, artisan incentives, and OT management. Benchmark compensation trends within the jewellery manufacturing sector. Drive transparent and fair C&B practices across the unit. 8. HR Operations Supervise attendance, leave, and shift scheduling. ¢

¢ Maintain HRMS data integrity and reports for management. Oversee onboarding, exit processes, and lifecycle documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications ¢ ¢ MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent. 1015 years of HR experience in manufacturing; experience in jewellery or precision/handcraft manufacturing preferred. ¢ Strong understanding of labour laws, factory HR operations, and artisan workforce management. ¢ ¢ Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills. Ability to work closely with production teams and handle high-volume workforce environments.
