Job Description

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Experience: 1215 years Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Location: Valappad Job Summary The CFO will lead the financial strategy, planning, and management of the organization. The role involves driving financial performance, ensuring statutory compliance, managing risk, and supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with robust leadership skills and proven experience in managing end-to-end finance functions. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy & Planning Develop and execute the companys long-term financial strategy in alignment with business goals. Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and scenario analysis. Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO/Board to support strategic decisions. 2. Financial Management & Controls Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and internal control processes. Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial statements. Implement best-practice financial systems, processes, and automation initiatives. 3. Business Finance & Performance Management Develop KPIs, dashboards, and MIS reports to monitor performance and profitability. Drive cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and margin improvement initiatives. Support business heads with financial insights for growth, pricing, and capex decisions.

4. Treasury & Fund Management
Manage cash flows, banking relationships, and liquidity planning. Optimize capital structure and oversee fund-raising (debt/equity) when required. Ensure prudent investment and risk-management practices. 5. Compliance, Audit & Governance Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and tax compliance (Direct & Indirect). Ensure compliance with corporate, financial, and regulatory requirements (Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, RBI, etc.). Establish strong governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks. 6. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead the finance team, ensuring capability development and process excellence. Act as a business partner to senior leadership and Board committees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. Required Qualifications & Skills 1215 years of progressive experience in finance, including 35 years in a senior leadership role. Strong expertise in financial planning, treasury, compliance, and strategic management. Experience in [Food processing/Retail industries] preferred (customize as needed). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory. Preferred Attributes Experience with ERP/financial systems . Prior involvement in fund-raising or investor relations (for startups or growth-stage companies)preferred.

Exposure to mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and financial restructuring.
