Job Title: Marketing Manager Value Added Products
Experience Required: 1020 years Location: Valappad Mafarm Job Summary The Marketing Manager Value Added Products will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy, product development initiatives, brand positioning, and go-to-market execution for the value-added product portfolio. The role requires deep market understanding, strong strategic thinking, and proven experience in driving product growth, market expansion, and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Leadership Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy for value-added products in alignment with business objectives. Lead market segmentation, competitor mapping, and opportunity assessments. Drive annual marketing plans, budgets, and performance metrics. 2. Product Development & Management Identify new product opportunities based on market insights, customer needs, and emerging trends. Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to develop and launch new value-added products. Oversee product lifecycle managementconcept to commercialization. 3. Brand Building & Positioning Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Drive brand campaigns, promotional activities, and digital engagement strategies. Develop product communication materials, packaging, and marketing collaterals. 4. Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution Plan and implement product launches, channel strategies, and trade marketing initiatives. Coordinate with sales teams to ensure alignment with marketing goals. Support distribution expansion and retailer activation programs.
5. Market Research & Insights
Conduct regular market intelligence to track consumer behaviour, competitor actions, and industry trends. Use data-driven insights to refine product positioning and marketing strategies. 6. Sales Enablement & Coordination Provide sales teams with training, product knowledge, and marketing tools. Monitor performance KPIs and support corrective action plans. Build strong relationships with key distributors, channel partners, and institutional clients. 7. Team Management Lead and mentor the marketing team to enhance capability and performance. Collaborate cross-functionally across departments and drive a culture of innovation. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred. 1020 years of proven experience in marketing, preferably in value-added products, FMCG, food & beverages, dairy, agri-based, or similar industries. Strong expertise in product development, brand management, and GTM strategies. Demonstrated success in launching and scaling products. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in marketing analytics and consumer insights. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
