We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 5 years of hands-on experience to manage our day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate accounting, and support statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting standards, and proficiency in handling financial processes end-to-end. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. 2. Accounts Payable & Receivable Process vendor invoices, verify documentation, and schedule timely payments. Generate customer invoices and follow up for outstanding payments. Prepare ageing analysis and maintain strong credit control. 3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Manage tax-related queries and coordinate with consultants. Ensure compliance with state and central financial regulations. 4. Payroll & Employee Settlements Process monthly payroll, statutory deductions, and salary statements. Handle employee reimbursement claims and full & final settlements. 5. Budgeting & Financial Analysis Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts. Track variances and provide insights for cost control. Prepare MIS reports to support management decision-making. 6. Audit Support Prepare audit schedules and documentation for statutory and internal audits. Liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure of audit issues. 7. Administrative & Coordination Activities Maintain organized documentation of all financial records. Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal departments for financial matters. Desired Candidate Profile B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance or related field. 4–6 years of experience in accounting and finance. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Proficient in Tally / ERP software and MS Excel. Excellent communication, analytical ability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
