HR Manager – Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience hiring engineers, especially in industrial automation, digitalization services, and other core engineering fields.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top engineering and technical talent.
  • Partner with department heads to understand manpower needs and close vacancies on time.
  • Oversee and continuously improve onboarding and orientation programs.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Promote a positive work culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee grievances confidentially and professionally.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and internal events.

Performance & Development

  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and track employee productivity.
  • Provide counselling, coaching, and support in managing performance issues.
  • Plan and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and development programs.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Review and update HR policies in line with labour laws and company requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and HR standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment regulations and recommend necessary updates.

HR Operations

  • Oversee HR administrative tasks, HRMS management, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate employee files and documentation.
  • Handle employee exit processes and conduct exit interviews.
  • Represent HR in leadership meetings and support strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership

  • Guide, mentor, and support HR team members as needed.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRMS tools.
  • Good understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.

Education & Experience

  • MBA with 5+ years of HR experience.
  • B.E/B.Tech (EEE/ECE/AEI/CS/IT) preferred.
  • Must have strong experience in recruiting engineers.
  • Experience in hiring for core engineering (non-IT) roles is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
