Job Description

Job Summary:

The HR Compliance and MIS Executive will be responsible for ensuring adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements, maintaining accurate HR records, and generating management information system (MIS) reports to support HR decision-making. The role demands attention to detail, strong knowledge of labor laws, and skills in data management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies related to attendance, wages, employee welfare, and statutory filings.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records as per the applicable acts (Factories Act, Payment of Wages Act, Provident Fund, ESI, PT, LWF etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain HR compliance documentation such as muster rolls, wage registers, overtime, and leave reports.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and government bodies for audits and inspections.
  • Generate and analyze MIS reports related to HR metrics such as attendance, attrition, payroll data, and compliance status.
  • Support payroll processing by providing accurate data and reports.
  • Monitor submission of statutory returns and assist in timely filing.
  • Assist in internal HR audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold employee data privacy standards.
  • Continuously update knowledge of labor laws and compliance best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR compliance, MIS reporting, or related HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws applicable in India.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization) and HR software/tools.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with HRIS or ERP systems.
  • Exposure to statutory audits and government compliance inspections.
