Department: Human Resources Location: Tarn - Taran Reports To: HR Manager / HR Head Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the daily functions of our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist in recruitment, employee record maintenance, leave and attendance tracking, and general HR administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update employee records (soft and hard copies). Assist in recruitment activities including job posting, scheduling interviews, and coordination with candidates. Track and update employee attendance, leaves (CL, SL, etc.), and time sheets. Support payroll processing by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.). Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes. Prepare HR-related reports as needed (e.g., monthly attendance, attrition, etc.). Coordinate with other departments regarding HR policies and processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws. Assist in organizing company events, training programs, and employee engagement activities. Address employee queries about HR-related issues (e.g., leave policy, salary, etc.). Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as an HR assistant or relevant administrative role is an advantage. Knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, leave management, basic labor law). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, especially in the rice industry. Familiarity with HR software (e.g., attendance management tools, HRMS). Understanding of statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.). Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
