eGovernments Foundation is a leading non-profi t organization dedicated to strengthening public service delivery through scalable technology-backed solutions. The Foundation works closely with governments to design, deploy, and sustain digital systems that improve outcomes in health, governance, and public administration.
The 10BedICU Project, launched in 2021, focuses on enhancing critical care capacity in district and sub-district hospitals across India. The initiative has established 214+ functional ICUs, supported by centralized Tele-ICU services and powered by the CARE EMR platform.
Building on this, the project is now piloting CARE HMIS, a modular, interoperable Health Management Information System aligned with national data standards (FHIR, SNOMED CT). The pilot aims to digitize hospital processes across 30 government health facilities, strengthen documentation practices, and enable data-driven decision-making.
The HMIS Coordinator will ensure smooth end-to-end implementation, from data setup to live system usage, ensuring complete adoption by target hospital departments within the pilot phase. The role requires close coordination with doctors, nursing staff, hospital administration, district health offi cials, and internal product/technology teams. The Coordinator will support workfl ow digitization, capacity building, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with hospital administration, and clinical and paraclinical staff to map and validate clinical workfl ows, service delivery protocols, and administrative processes across departments. Ensure that workfl ow mapping and data defi nitions align with clinical and administrative standards.

● Prepare & Organize structured datasets including Activity, Plan, Change Item, and Specimen Definitions
● Create and maintain hospital master data sheets.
● Document operational challenges, usability issues, and escalate tech bugs to the support team.
Drive the on-ground implementation and adoption of CARE HMIS by supporting the District HMIS Nodal Offi cer and State Program Manager in collating adoption metrics, preparing weekly dashboards, and ensuring sustained system utilization across departments .
● Train and onboard hospital staff on CARE HMIS modules and features.
● Provide day-to-day user support for seamless system utilization.
● Coordinate with engineering and product teams to test system enhancements and new features.
● Monitor confi guration changes and report testing outcomes.
● Support documentation and refi nement of SOPs for smooth deployment in subsequent facilities.
● Liaise with district and facility leadership to align adoption with broader public health objectives.
Ability to translate fi eld feedback into actionable product improvements and coordinate effectively with technology teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of HMIS/EMR systems.

● Ability to execute additional responsibilities as directed by the Reporting Officer.
● Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

● Profi ciency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and general digital tools.
● Comfortable working in hospital environments and coordinating with diverse teams.
● Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor in line with project requirements
● Understanding of hospital operations and clinical workfl ows.
● Experience in data entry, documentation, monitoring, or training.
● Familiarity with HMIS/EMR platforms (preferred).
● Basic knowledge of software issue reporting/bug tracking.
● Exposure to National digital health ecosystem / FHIR standards (preferred).
● Good communication skills in English and local/regional language.
● Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams.
