Known as appropriate rig preparation for Ac system components& engine cooling components to validate performance& durability tests (Ac comp Belt tightness, wrap angle, Pulley straightness, spit level indicator, Heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC)Mounting, etc.,)➢ Calculate optimum charge determination amount, Ac Evaporator sensor location finding, Ac comp torque, Ac comp Horse power, Heat rejection, Heat balance (Air side & R134A Refrigerant side) Oil circulation ratio, super heat& sub cool (via mollier diagram), etc.,➢ In-depth knowledge of testing tools _Appropriate temporary/ permanent fasteners and tools, Electric/ pneumatic gun& cutter.➢ In-depth knowledge of below R & D instruments1. Dial gauge2. Micrometer3. Vernier caliper4. Refractometer (To ensure ethylene glycol ratio)5. pH Meter (To ensure corrosion solution_ Sea water& salt solution pH value)6. Clamp meter, multi meter& Dc source (Prepare auto program)7. Data logger (To read& record temperature of live testing specimen’s thermocouple k type& T type)8. Thermal image camera (To capture and record the live testing specimens. For an example Ac condenser& Engine cooling radiator& etc.,)9. Endoscopic camera (To capture and record the live testing specimens. For an example ac evaporator icing zone validation& etc.,)10. In my current organization below 2 testing are in my primary control1. Ac system bench2. External corrosion, 3. FM 600 (AIR FLOW test machine), Remains testing are in secondary controlAc system bench➢ Conducting Vehicle full ac system charge determination, TXV (Thermal expansion valve) tuning& selection test, AC Evaporator icing test, Evaporator sensor location test, water condensation, water drainage, water scattering, Full AC performance test, Fuel efficiency test➢ Conducting Front HVAC System (Hatchback, sedan cars), Front &Rear HVAC systems (SUV Cars)Responsibilities handled (Contd.)➢ Heat Pump Performance tests based on vapor compression refrigeration cycle - Coefficient of Performance (COP), power input, heat output, and overall system efficiency under various operating conditions.
