Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Design and implement the annual admissions strategy across UG and PG programs.
  • Set enrollment targets and lead planning efforts to achieve them.
  • Identify growth opportunities in markets, channels, and partnerships.

Sales Management & Conversion

  • Drive qualified lead to application and application-to-enrollment conversion through structured sales processes.
  • Personally oversee key lead segments and monitor team-level sales performance.
  • Ensure high-quality and consistent counselling practices across the team.

Counselling & Telecalling Operations

  • Lead a team of 

    admissions counsellors and tele-calling executives

     responsible for engaging and converting thousands of leads.
  • Set performance metrics for counsellors and callers, and manage daily/weekly reviews.
  • Ensure quality control, training, and scripting consistency across all outbound and inbound communications.

CRM & Funnel Optimization

  • Oversee the use of CRM systems (Meritto) for lead management, automation, and reporting.
  • Use filters and data analysis to provide teams with bespoke and targeted lead segments to enhance conversion. 
  • Define lead qualification frameworks and implement structured follow-up mechanisms.
  • Use CRM analytics to identify drop-offs, improve follow-ups, and optimize conversions.

Data-Driven Strategy

  • Track and analyse key metrics across the admissions funnel—lead quality, counsellor productivity, call-to-conversion ratios, etc.
  • Run weekly dashboards and executive-level reporting.

Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing admissions team.
  • Implement ongoing training programs on counselling, product knowledge, and CRM utilisation.
  • Create a culture of accountability, urgency, and excellence.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Align with marketing, academic, and outreach teams to ensure messaging consistency and seamless candidate experience.
  • Coordinate with third-party consultants, agencies, and school networks where applicable.

Education

Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Essential)

Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years in admissions, education sales, or B2C consultative sales (Essential)
  • Experience in managing counselling teams and medium to large-scale tele-calling operations(Essential)
  • Proven success in driving student enrollment in higher education institutions (Essential)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems. (Essential)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (Essential)
  • High energy, goal-oriented mindset with excellent communication and leadership abilities (Essential)
