About the Opportunity: Ericsson Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS) provides industry-leading solutions for Core Network and Automation, Managed Services, Services Orchestration, and Telecom BSS. The Head of Service Delivery is the Leader of Ericsson’s 10,000 employees Service Delivery organization serving 400+ Customers across 150+ countries from 4 centers across the globe. Reporting to Head of Business Area Cloud Software and Service, the Head of Service Delivery is responsible for ensuring that the Ericsson Service Delivery organization is recognized as the world leading Service Delivery organization within the telecom industry and among the leading Service Delivery organizations in the world. This includes a constant desire to transform the work of the center, to test boundaries and innovate for superior value for our customers, employees, and Ericsson as an organization. To do that emphasis has to be on “one foot in today” to drive operational efficiency, execution, and industrialization while at the same time having “one foot in tomorrow” to see and set the vision and strategy for the future of Service Delivery while building and executing the plan to get there. This requires a visionary leader with significant drive and the ability to bring a large complex organization along. It requires significant collaboration skills while also being prepared to stake out untraveled paths. The Head of Service Delivery is a member of BCSS leadership team. Working in a matrix structure with Market areas, this position requires strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. The location of this role is in Gurgaon, India. What you will do: Develop the vision, strategy, and execution plan for the Service Delivery organization of the future, and see it through Develop and lead a global team of leaders who, together, deliver to our clients, employees, and Ericsson Deliver profitable projects with customer satisfaction along with Market Areas using an integrated service delivery model Transitioning to a Service Delivery organization that delivers cloud native solutions using AI/automated workflows Develop the capabilities of the organization align with strategy including future skills and leadership Develop tiered portfolio offering approach for high value services/opportunities, and industrialize and scale the same Connect with and lead a 10,000-employee global organization and ensure it’s energized, motivated and able to deliver leading edge services for clients Grow the Service Delivery business by capturing market share, develop additional profitable business and expanding existing client scope Be the leader and voice of Service Delivery in the Global BCSS Leadership team, within the executive group of Ericsson and with clients Work closely with Market Areas to drive services (sales, portfolio, and delivery) Influence development of highly serviceable products Drive operational efficiencies and simplification What you will bring: Key Attributes: Deep expertise in next generation Service Delivery including usage of Automation, AI, and Cloud native. Sufficient telecoms knowledge, ability to speak the language of telecoms, plus ability to capitalize on deep telecoms expertise of others Deep understanding of driving digital business transformation in all aspects, technology, business, competence, strategy and organizational Ability to lead Market Area and customers in delivery strategy and execution, commercial as well as operational efficiency discussions to build trust, secure profitable growth and develop the customer operations for the long term Ability to create a strong bond with Cloud and Digital Services domains in Market Areas and develop one team approach Ability to lead and transform large matrixed organization Strong business acumen to drive profitable growth, excellent expertise and understanding of financial issues affecting the organization Unwavering commitment to ethics and compliance Leadership: Creates clarity (decision making, delegation, strategic leadership, impact & influence, active listening, emotional intelligence) . Develops people (constructive feedback, coaching, empathetic, employee motivation) . Deliver results (accountability, performance review, leading & developing high performing teams, adaptability, resilience & perseverance, team motivation) . Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Telecom or Business-related discipline.
