Job Description

As a Sales Marketing Head/Business Development Head at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, maintaining client relationships, and expanding our market presence across India. This position necessitates significant travel and a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively engage with existing and potential clients in Surat and various states to understand their chemical needs and offer suitable solutions. - Cultivate and nurture strong, enduring customer relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service. - Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industries utilizing chemical products. - Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and surpass sales targets. - Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients. - Efficiently negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements. - Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth import operations of chemicals as per client demands. - Monitor import timelines and provide updates to clients as needed. - Maintain accurate sales records, client databases, and activity reports. - Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for enhancement. - Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for management. - Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments in the chemical industry. - Offer market feedback to aid in product development and marketing strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of successful sales or business development experience, preferably in the chemical, industrial, or B2B sector. - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. - Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively to different states as required. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Basic understanding of chemical products and applications is advantageous.
