Head of Sales Marketing

As a Sales Marketing Head/Business Development Head at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence across India. Your responsibilities will include proactively meeting with clients to understand their chemical requirements, developing new business opportunities, coordinating import operations, maintaining accurate sales records, and conducting market research. You will be expected to excel in client relationship management by meeting with existing and prospective clients to present suitable solutions, maintain long-lasting relationships through regular communication, address client inquiries promptly, and provide excellent service. Additionally, you will identify and target new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals effectively. Collaboration with procurement and logistics teams to ensure smooth import operations, monitoring import timelines, maintaining accurate sales records, analyzing sales data, preparing forecasts and reports for management, staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field, along with 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the chemical, industrial, or B2B sector. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills, self-motivation, proactive approach, willingness to travel extensively, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a basic understanding of chemical products and their applications are required.
