Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales /Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, set up sales team, fostering strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence across India. This role requires extensive travel and a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities. The job requires working full time from Surat, Gujarat.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Proactively meet with clients in Surat and other states to understand their needs, present solutions, and address inquiries promptly.
  2. Sales Generation & Business Development:

    Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and executing strategies to meet or exceed targets. Prepare and deliver presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  3. Import Operations Coordination:

    Ensure smooth import of chemicals by collaborating with procurement and logistics teams. Monitor timelines and communicate updates to clients, with an understanding of basic import documentation.
  4. Sales Record & Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales records, analyze data to identify trends, and prepare sales forecasts and reports for management.
  5. Market Research & Analysis:

    Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to provide market-driven feedback for business strategy

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, business development, and market research in Chemical Industry
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or related field
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to different states as required
  • Experience in the chemical industry is a must
