This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take complete ownership of Kyrios 2.0, an AI-driven, community-based healthcare platform. You will lead the transition from legacy systems, build a high-performance engineering team, and drive the development of AI-powered features - including GenAI, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation. Your role is to architect, scale, and deliver a modular, secure, and high-performance platform that connects and empowers healthcare professionals globally.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Engineering Leadership: Lead all engineering functions for Kyrios 2.0, including architecture, backend (FastAPI/Python), frontend (React/Next.js), DevOps, data engineering, and security.
• Platform Modernization: Oversee the codebase handover, establish CI/CD pipelines, and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• AI-Driven Innovation: Spearhead the development of GenAI, Agentic AI, and LangChain/LangGraph-based modules for HCP targeting, recruiter automation, and personalized experiences.
• Technical Architecture: Design and implement scalable, multi-tenant architectures with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, FastAPI, and React/Next.js, ensuring high performance and security.
• Team Building & Mentorship: Build, mentor, and retain a lean, high-performance engineering team (5-10 members) with a focus on product mindset, ownership, and rapid iteration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, UX, and data teams to prioritize features, ensure seamless integration, and deliver user-centric solutions.
• AI & Data Strategy: Operationalize LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, and AI-driven workflows for recruiter automation, content personalization, and real-time engagement.
  

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Backend: FastAPI, Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3).
• Frontend: React, Next.js 13+, TypeScript, Redux/Context, TailwindCSS.
• AI/ML: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, PyTorch/TensorFlow, vector databases (Pinecone/FAISS), and Agentic AI frameworks.
• DevOps & Cloud: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Data Engineering: Data pipelines, feature stores, and MLOps for production-grade AI models.
  

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• 7-12 years in product engineering, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or community platforms.
• Proven track record of leading early-stage engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentorship skills.
• Startup mindset: Ability to thrive in ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver on tight timelines.
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with healthcare/edtech platforms or market research tools.
• Exposure to multi-modal AI, fine-tuning LLMs, or autonomous agent systems.
