Role Overview:

Graystone Capital is establishing a backend and origination support center in India to service its GCC and Asia regional offices. We are seeking a senior, experienced professional to lead and manage our India operations.

The Location Head – India will be responsible for business origination oversight, operational management, team leadership, and performance delivery across Business Origination, Business Analysis, and Financial Analysis teams. This role is critical in ensuring seamless coordination between the India office and the Dubai Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. India Operations Leadership

• Lead and manage end-to-end operations of Graystone Capital’s India office.
• Act as the single point of accountability for delivery, compliance, and performance.
• Ensure alignment of India operations with business objectives of GCC and Asia offices.

2. Team Management & Development

• Manage and mentor teams across:
• Business Origination Support
• Business Analysts
• Financial & Credit Analysts
• Set KPIs, monitor productivity, and drive performance outcomes.
• Build a high-performance culture aligned with international banking standards.

3. Business Origination Oversight

• Oversee remote origination of mandates related to:
• Working Capital facilities
• Trade Finance
• Corporate Lending & Structured Finance
• Guide teams on client targeting, pitch preparation, and initial qualification.
• Support senior management in deal discussions and pipeline reviews.

4. Banking Operations & Credit Expertise

• Provide leadership on

  corporate lending processes

  , including:
• Credit assessment
• Financial analysis
• Documentation support
• Bank coordination
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of analysis and submissions.

5. Stakeholder & HQ Coordination

• Work closely with the

  Business Head and Leadership Team in Dubai

• Participate in strategy discussions, reporting, and management reviews.
• Travel to Dubai and regional offices for meetings, planning, and alignment.

6. Governance, Process & Compliance

• Implement robust internal controls and operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, client confidentiality, and data protection.
• Continuously improve workflows, turnaround time, and service quality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Quality and volume of business support delivered to GCC & Asia offices
• Origination pipeline efficiency and conversion support
• Accuracy and turnaround time of financial and credit analysis
• Team productivity, retention, and development
• Stakeholder satisfaction (Dubai HQ & regional offices)

Candidate Profile:

Experience & Background

• 10–18 years of experience in banking, corporate lending, or financial services.
• Strong exposure to Corporate Banking / Wholesale Banking / Credit Operations.
• Experience managing multi-functional teams is mandatory.
• Prior experience working with international offices or offshore teams is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of corporate lending, working capital, and trade finance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-border advisory environment.
• Strategic mindset with strong operational execution capability.

Education

• MBA / CA / CFA / equivalent qualification preferred.
