The Role: Head of Marketing


We’re looking for a rare blend of creative strategist, brand storyteller, operational leader, and data-savvy marketer. You’ll own the end-to-end marketing strategy, scale our brand, lead a growing team, and drive measurable growth. You’ll work directly with the founders and operate across functions—from content to performance, design to product.


This is not just a leadership role. It’s a builder role. A driver role. A “roll up your sleeves and make things happen” role.


What You’ll Do:


1. Own & Scale the Brand

  • Craft and evolve Athena’s brand strategy, positioning us as a global thought leader in education and life coaching.
  • Shape our voice, visuals, and narrative across every touchpoint—from our website to our video series.
  • Grow a luxury-tier brand from medium to global scale.


2. Lead a High-Impact Team

  • Build, inspire, and manage a multidisciplinary marketing team.
  • Drive execution excellence with urgency and clarity.
  • Create a culture of creativity, accountability, and mutual respect.


3. Drive Growth Through Data & Insight

  • Lead with insight: translate data into strategy and storytelling into action.
  • Use marketing analytics (SEO, engagement, conversion) to continuously optimize decisions.
  • Balance gut feel and data like a true full-brain operator.


4. Guide Content & Campaigns

  • Direct strategic content creation across channels—social, digital, thought leadership, and video.
  • Push the creative envelope while staying on-brand and goal-driven.
  • Lead content execution with guidance, frameworks, and ideation.


5. Operate Across Teams in Ambiguity

  • Thrive in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
  • Build processes where needed—but don’t wait for them to start doing.
  • Collaborate with product, partnerships, operations, and founders to keep things moving.


What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of marketing, branding, or creative leadership experience, ideally with

    luxury, premium, or education brands.

  • Proven ability to scale brands from strong to iconic.
  • Strategic thinker with creative firepower and operational precision.
  • Comfortable with confrontation when needed—always with respect and clarity.
  • Fluent in both storytelling and spreadsheets. You can pivot between campaign ideas and conversion metrics.
  • Startup DNA: bias for action, love for ownership, and high tolerance for ambiguity.
