Head of Online Degree Vertical(B2C)

Location

Role Overview:

We're seeking an exceptional leader to head our Online Degree vertical. Currently generating close to 50Cr in revenue with 11,000 admissions annually. This role is critical as we scale towards IPO readiness and aim to triple our admission numbers to compete with market leaders. The ideal candidate will take full P&L ownership and transform our online vertical from 14,000 to 35,000+ admissions annually.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & P&L Management:

  • Own complete P&L responsibility for the Online Degree vertical (current revenue: Rs50 Crore)
  • Develop and execute strategies to scale admissions from 12,000 to 35,000+ annually within 2-3 years
  • Optimize key metrics: CAC, ARPU, Avg Admission per counselor, Degree Completion Rate and ROAS

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead and scale a 200+ member counseling team with focus on unbiased student guidance
  • Implement technology-driven solutions to improve conversion rates and reduce CAC
  • Optimize the counseling process while maintaining College Vidya's differentiated approach (unbiased platform model vs. hard-selling)
  • Manage relationships with university partners

Growth & Innovation:

  • Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance lead response time and conversion
  • Expand geographical presence

Team Development:

  • Build and mentor high-performance teams & Coordination with different teams like Marketing, Training & Quality, MIS, Post Admission Support
  • Create a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement

Essential:

  • 10-12 years of experience in P&L management, preferably in platform/marketplace businesses
  • Proven track record of scaling operations 3x-5x in consumer-facing businesses
  • Experience managing 200+ member teams and multi-crore revenue targets
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in unit economics and growth metrics

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in businesses with similar models: platform/aggregator rather than direct sales
  • Understanding of technology-enabled sales processes and CRM systems
  • Experience in education sector or understanding of higher education landscape
