Designed for today’s fast-paced lifestyle, we aim to offer a seamless and elevated café experience across all our locations. Role Overview: We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead and scale our culinary operations across all Xpanse Coffee outlets. This role demands a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of continental cuisine and café-style food offerings. The ideal candidate will blend culinary creativity with operational efficiency, ensuring quality, consistency, and speed across multiple locations. As we scale, the Head Chef will play a key role in building standard operating procedures and integrating digital tools to support streamlined kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities: 1) Menu Development & Optimization (Continental) Curate and innovate continental food offerings that align with the Xpanse brand, emphasizing quality, speed, and taste. Regularly refine recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency across locations . 2) Operational Leadership Standardize kitchen procedures and workflows across outlets. Oversee food production, quality assurance, and presentation standards. Collaborate with outlet managers and the operations team to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations. 3) Team Management Train, and mentor kitchen staff and outlet chefs. Conduct regular skill development sessions and performance evaluations. 4) Supply Chain & Inventory Oversight Coordinate with procurement for sourcing high-quality ingredients. Monitor stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure cost control. 5) Quality, Compliance & Safety Ensure all food handling and hygiene standards (FSSAI or local compliance) are strictly followed. Conduct regular audits and training on food safety practices. Requirements: Minimum 10+ years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably across multiple locations). Proven ability to develop scalable menus and standardize culinary processes. Experience in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or café chains would be a plus. Passion for food innovation, quality control, and operational excellence. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
