Job Description

Job Title: Head – Business Excellence
Experience: 25+ Years
Education: Bachelor's in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Job Purpose
To lead Avaada’s transformation into a future-ready, customer-centric, process-driven, and digitally enabled organization by institutionalizing a culture of Business Excellence, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement, powered by AI and digital technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Culture & People Leadership
  • Champion a Customer-First mindset and a culture of innovation, process thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead capability building in Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, TPM, TQM, problem-solving, and digital quality tools.
  • Develop and coach internal talent through training, certifications, and mentorship programs.
  • Build internal champions in innovation, analytics, and operational excellence.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across business units.
2. Process Excellence & Digital Transformation
  • Deploy structured excellence frameworks (EFQM, MBNQA, etc.) aligned with ISO IMS standards.
  • Lead digitization and integration of AI/ML into business processes for sustainable results.
  • Implement robust internal audit and review mechanisms to ensure process integrity and goal alignment.
3. Performance Management & Analytics
  • Design and institutionalize KPI-driven governance systems across functions.
  • Promote a data-driven decision culture using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView), control charts, and advanced analytics.
  • Ensure real-time monitoring of quality, productivity, and excellence metrics.
4. External Representation & Benchmarking
  • Represent Avaada on national/international platforms (CII, FICCI, QCI, etc.).
  • Collaborate with certification bodies, regulatory councils, and industry forums.
  • Drive brand positioning through awards, publications, and external recognition.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
  • 25+ years in Quality & Business Excellence; minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Sector experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, Power, EPC, or Manufacturing preferred.
  • Core Expertise:
  • Deployment of EFQM / MBNQA / RBNQA models
  • ISO systems, audits, and governance
  • Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, TQM, Root Cause Analysis (PDCA, DMAIC, A3)
  • AI/ML in Quality, Industry 4.0 applications, and data analytics
  • Strategic execution and financial acumen
  • Digital-first mindset and analytical orientation
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and compliance focus
