Purpose/Objective

The Head of Business Development & Land Acquisition will play a pivotal role in driving Adani's real estate business expansion in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in the real estate industry, demonstrating exceptional expertise in strategic business development and land acquisition. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and influence key decisions in expanding Adani's real estate portfolio while upholding the company's core values of sustainability, integrity, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead the formulation and execution of the business development and land acquisition strategy for Adani's real estate projects in Mumbai - Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities, conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments - Negotiate and finalize land acquisition deals while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies - Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, landowners, government authorities, and industry partners - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project proposals, financial models, and investment strategies - Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market trends, competitor analysis, and industry best practices - Oversee the due diligence process, including legal, financial, and technical assessments for potential land acquisitions - Manage a team of professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations - Ensure adherence to sustainable and environmentally responsible land development practices - Represent Adani in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation

Technical Competencies

Comprehensive understanding of real estate market dynamics and land acquisition processes,Proficiency in financial analysis, feasibility studies, and investment appraisal,Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to land acquisition and real estate development,Experience in using relevant industry-specific software and tools

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field - Master's degree in Business Administration or Real Estate Management (preferred) Experience - Minimum 15-20 years of experience in the real estate industry - Demonstrated track record of successful business development and land acquisition initiatives - Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing teams
