Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, India. Key responsibilities include: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of extrusion presses , billet heaters, hydraulic systems, pullers, runout tables, stretchers, ageing ovens, compressors, and related machinery. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic faults with speed and accuracy. Ensure uninterrupted plant operations by minimizing downtime through proactive interventions. Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems, control panels, sensors, VFDs, motors, pumps, and power circuits. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain detailed documentation. Inspect press components—container, die slide, main cylinder, pumps, valves, manifolds—ensuring proper functionality and safety. Coordinate with the production team to address failures, optimize machine performance, and improve reliability. Manage spares inventory and liaise with vendors for critical parts and repairs. Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with all industrial guidelines. Experience: 5 – 20 years (Aluminium Extrusion industry preferred) Qualifications: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics (preferred) Strong understanding of industrial quality processes Knowledge of extrusion & metal processing is a plus In-depth understanding of aluminium extrusion press working principles.
