Hardware Asset Management

Lead and manage a team of asset and configuration coordinators.
Develop and implement asset management strategies and policies.Oversee the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.Collaborate with other departments to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.Provide training and support to team members on asset management processes and tools.Generate and present reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance.Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for asset procurement and maintenance.Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices in asset and configuration management.Technical Skills Required:Proficiency in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (CM) tools.Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes.Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems.
