About The Opportunity

We operate in the health & fitness sector, running multi-location gym and wellness centres focused on delivering premium member experiences and measurable health outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of operations, sales, and people leadership, responsible for driving regional profitability, standardising club operations, and scaling membership growth across India. On-site role based in India, reporting to senior leadership.Role & Responsibilities
  • Own P&L and commercial performance for a cluster of gyms—set targets, forecast revenue, manage costs, and deliver margin improvement across the region.
  • Drive membership sales, retention and lifetime value through performance-led campaigns, local partnerships, and standardised sales playbooks.
  • Lead, coach and develop multi-location centre managers and operational teams to meet monthly KPIs (revenue, conversions, attendance, NPS, retention).
  • Implement and enforce SOPs for service delivery, cleanliness, equipment maintenance, health & safety and regulatory compliance to ensure consistent member experience.
  • Use data and CRM/club-management systems to monitor performance, run targeted interventions, and present actionable reports to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives—new service rollouts, cost optimisation, local marketing activation and process automation—to scale operations efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 8+ years of experience in fitness/gym operations or retail multi-unit management, with 3+ years in a regional/head role or managing multiple centres.
  • Proven P&L ownership and track record of delivering revenue growth and improved margins across sites.
  • Strong people leadership—hiring, coaching, performance management and building high-performing centre teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with CRM/club-management platforms (Mindbody, Glofox, Zen Planner or equivalents) and comfort with data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with India market operations, local compliance, and partner-led growth strategies (corporate tie-ups, schools, community programs).
  • MBA or diploma in management/fitness business is an advantage.
