About BAV Electric

BAV Electric is building an end–to–end EV ecosystem – from online EV discovery and booking, to offline experience stores and EV charging stations. We help customers compare, test ride, and purchase the right electric 2–wheelers, 3–wheelers and 4–wheelers, while also giving them access to nearby charging options through our app.

We are a fast–growing startup with both online platforms (website + apps) and offline presence (experience store / franchise model).

Role Overview

We are looking for a Growth & Operations Manager who can own both:

  • Growth & Marketing – Meta (Facebook + Instagram) ads, app installs, lead generation, basic funnel tracking.
  • Business Operations – store operations, leads → test rides → sales, coordination with dealers, basic finance and reporting.

This is a full–time, high–ownership role ideal for an MBA (Marketing / Operations / Business Analytics) who is comfortable with both numbers and on-ground execution.

You will work directly with the Founder.

Key Responsibilities1. Growth & Marketing (40–50%)

  • Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns on Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram) for:
  • App installs
  • Lead generation (test ride enquiries, bookings)
  • Brand awareness & engagement (Reels, videos, store launch campaigns)
  • Define and manage target audiences (location, language, interests, custom & lookalike audiences – e.g., EV enthusiasts, commuters, delivery riders, families in Telangana).
  • Coordinate with content creators / designers for:
  • Reels, creatives, ad copies (in English + local language where needed)
  • Landing pages and app store listings alignment
  • Track and report key metrics:
  • Cost per install (CPI)
  • Cost per lead (CPL)
  • Cost per test ride / sale
  • Basic ROI / ROAS understanding
  • Work with tech team to ensure correct tracking (pixels, SDK events, UTM links, etc., with their support).

2. Business & Store Operations (40–50%)

  • Own end–to–end flow:

Lead / enquiry → test ride → follow–up → final sale → feedback.

  • Coordinate with store staff / sales team:
  • Daily leads list, call status, follow–ups
  • Test ride scheduling and walk–ins
  • Work with dealers & OEMs (e.g., partner brands) on:
  • Vehicle availability, pricing updates, offers
  • Display vehicles, test ride vehicles, stock planning
  • Make and share weekly operational reports:
  • Leads, test rides, walk–ins, sales, revenue
  • Vehicle–wise performance, city–wise trends
  • Support charging–station operations (where applicable):
  • Ensure locations are correctly mapped in app
  • Basic monitoring of usage/feedback (with internal tools provided).

3. Strategy, Analytics & Processes (10–20%)

  • Build simple but clear dashboards / Google Sheets for:
  • Ad performance
  • Store performance
  • City / vehicle segment analysis
  • Suggest and test experiments:
  • New offers (cashback, free accessories, referral schemes)
  • New content angles for Reels and ads
  • Help design and document SOPs:
  • How to handle a new lead
  • How to conduct and record a test ride
  • How to update daily sales and stock reports

Who You Are

  • Education: MBA in Marketing / Operations / Business Analytics (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1–5 years in:
  • Growth / marketing / performance marketing, and/or
  • Startup operations / retail operations / D2C / mobility / automotive.
  • Hands–on experience with Meta Ads Manager is a strong plus (not just “worked with agency”, but actually created/managed campaigns).
  • Strong data comfort:
  • Can work independently in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Can read dashboards and translate them into concrete actions.
  • Comfortable with field work + calls:
  • Talking to customers, sales staff, dealers.
  • Visiting store / local partners when needed.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Telugu / Hindi is a big plus.
  • You are:
  • Ownership–driven – you like to own outcomes, not just tasks
  • Action–oriented – you’d rather test and learn quickly than over–plan
  • Organized – you can bring structure to chaos in an early–stage startup.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in EV, automotive, mobility, or D2C brands.
  • Experience running app install funnels (App Store / Play Store).
  • Basic understanding of:
  • Google Analytics / Firebase / Appsflyer (or similar)
  • CRM tools, lead management, or sales pipelines.

Pay: ₹15,678.45 - ₹30,000.00 per month
