First 90 Days Focus

Your primary mission will be driving initial user acquisition through creative, ethical strategies while simultaneously building our presence in communities where our target users naturally congregate. You'll need to move fast, test relentlessly, and find innovative solutions to reach users through non-traditional channels.

Must-Have Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years

    of demonstrated, hands-on experience in a B2C Growth, Marketing, or Growth Hacking role
  • Proven track record

    of driving significant organic and viral growth (0-1 or 1-10 stage) without reliance on traditional paid media budgets
  • Deep practical experience

    in Guerrilla Marketing, "scrappy" user acquisition, and resourcefully reaching users where they already exist
  • Expertise in Community Building

    and engagement on platforms like Reddit, Quora, and niche, self-governed forums. Must understand the culture, rules, and etiquette of these platforms
  • Prior success

    in initiating, building, and managing Influencer/Creator relationships that result in authentic, high-impact user acquisition
  • A "Hacker" mindset:

    extremely resourceful, obsessed with finding non-obvious solutions, data-driven, and comfortable with rapid iteration and ambiguity
  • Strong analytical skills:

    ability to set up tracking, measure results, and derive actionable insights from imperfect data
  • Excellent copywriting skills:

    ability to write compelling, attention-grabbing copy for short-form channels (social posts, forum comments, DMs)


What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience with a "product-led growth" (PLG) model
  • Previous experience in a startup environment where resources were scarce and creativity was essential
  • Track record of successfully acquiring users through creative, non-traditional channels and approaches
  • Experience managing small budgets for influencer partnerships with strong ROI
  • Understanding of two-sided marketplace dynamics
  • Active participation in online communities (can be professional or personal interests)
