Growth Engineer We're looking for a strategic marketer who can elevate Repello.ai's presence in the AI security space. As our Growth Engineering maverick, you'll be the CEO's right hand in turning Repello.ai from "that AI security startup" into "holy sh*t, have you seen what Repello just did?" About Repello AI Repello AI specializes in AI Red Teaming through our innovative product - we're the ethical hackers of the AI world, finding vulnerabilities before the bad actors do. We’re backed by top VCs like General Catalyst, pi Ventures, and top angels including Vivek (CEO, Sarvam.ai), Charles Songhurst (Board member, Meta) We've built a product that identifies how AI systems can be manipulated, exploited, or misused, then helps companies build better guardrails and runtime security solutions. Our approach is product-driven and scalable. We don't just talk about AI security; we've built a platform that actively breaks systems to make them stronger. What You'll Actually Do Ignite Viral Moments : Create content that spreads like wildfire across tech Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp groups where CTOs and CISOs lurk Engineer Controversies : Craft perspectives that make people hit the share button angry-style (while staying ethical) Build a Growth Machine : Design systems that turn eyeballs into leads into customers who wonder how they ever lived without us Become Obsessed with Metrics : If it's not growing, it's dying. You'll live and breathe our north star metrics Make Security Sexy : Transform technical whitepapers about AI vulnerabilities into content people actually want to consume Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy across all channels Create engaging content for social media, blog posts, newsletters, and whitepapers Drive the creation of sales and marketing collateral Build and nurture relationships with potential customers and industry influencers Monitor and analyze growth metrics, adjusting strategies based on data Collaborate with the CEO to position Repello.ai as a thought leader in AI security Stay current on AI security trends and competitive landscape Who You Are You've made things go viral before (and not just by accident) You're the person who reads marketing case studies for fun The idea of A/B testing gives you a little dopamine hit You understand that "edgy" doesn't mean "offensive" - you know where the line is You're fascinated by AI and security (or at least willing to become fascinated) You've broken systems before – whether they were marketing funnels, content platforms, or actual products You have strong opinions about what makes content spread (and you're ready to defend them) You understand the difference between vanity metrics and metrics that matter We Value Proven track record in growth marketing, especially in B2B tech or security Experience creating content that drives engagement and conversions Understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them for different audiences History of building and executing successful marketing campaigns Familiarity with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems Don't Apply If... You think "going viral" means getting lucky You use terms like "synergy" and "leverage" unironically You believe security marketing must be boring to be taken seriously You're not comfortable with rapid experimentation and occasional failure You need constant direction and hand-holding You're looking for a "stable, predictable" role (we're a startup, come on) What Success Looks Like In 3 months : You've engineered at least one viral moment that gets Repello noticed by the right people In 6 months : Our content is regularly referenced in AI security conversations In 12 months : "Have you seen Repello's latest?" becomes a common phrase in security circles Compensation Competitive base salary (we're not playing games here) Equity that actually means something (early-stage startup) The freedom to experiment without 12 layers of approval
