Ph. D. in Nanoscience and Technology, Polymer Science & Technology, or Chemical Engineering, with demonstrated expertise in membrane synthesis and characterization for water desalination and energy storage applications.

Job Description

This position is part of the Green Water Laboratory a dynamic R&D team focusing on sustainable membrane and water treatment technologies aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The selected candidate will also have opportunities to collaborate with the Centre of Excellence in Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (CENTAM) at Amrita Chennai for R&D projects focussed on:

Membrane synthesis by electrospinning technique.

Characterization and performance evaluation for batteries and supercapacitor energy storage devices.

Responsibilities include

Nano-polymer membrane synthesis

Electrospun membrane development and performance evaluation/ optimization using various characterization techniques.
