Role Description

We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven, and experienced Group Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead our diverse portfolio of businesses, which includes Ayurvedic pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, hospitals, e-commerce sales, and clinical services.


This critical leadership role is primarily focused on developing and executing group-level strategy and innovative marketing programs to drive aggressive growth across all verticals. The VP will act as a strategic guide for the leadership teams, ensuring seamless coordination between marketing vision and sales execution to achieve ambitious business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Marketing Leadership (Core Focus)

  • Develop and Execute Group Strategy: Formulate, communicate, and implement a cohesive, multi-channel sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the Group's long-term growth and profitability goals across all business units (Pharma, Nutrition, Hospitals, E-commerce).
  • Brand & Portfolio Management: Oversee all brand development, market positioning, and new product introduction strategies for the Ayurvedic drug and nutritional supplement portfolios, ensuring strong market relevance and competitive advantage.
  • Digital & E-commerce Strategy: Drive the digital transformation and e-commerce strategy, leveraging data analytics and modern marketing techniques to maximize online sales and customer engagement.
  • Marketing Innovation: Lead the creation and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, traditional media, and patient/customer-centric programs for the hospital and clinic verticals.
  • Sales Coordination & Execution
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the individual business unit Sales Teams to translate marketing strategies and group goals into actionable, measurable sales targets and programs.
  • Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
  • Market Insight: Guide market research efforts to identify consumer trends, competitive movements, and unmet customer needs, translating insights into profitable strategy adjustments.
  • Financial & Operational Leadership
  • P&L Management: Assume ultimate P&L responsibility for the Group's sales and marketing performance, diligently managing budgets, optimizing costs, and driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Business Unit Guidance: Act as a mentor and strategic resource for the individual business unit heads, guiding them through the annual strategic planning, budgeting, and execution processes.


Qualifications and Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Education

    : An MBA degree from a reputed institution is mandatory.
  • Sector Experience

    : Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership, with a significant track record within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or OTC (Over-The-Counter) pharmaceutical sectors.
  • L

    eadership Track Record:

    Proven experience in a senior leadership role (VP-level or equivalent)
  • Strategic Acumen

    : Demonstrated ability to build complex, multi-brand strategies in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Highly Desirable

  • Technical Background

    : A bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is an added benefit, providing a strong foundation for understanding the technical aspects of drug, nutrition, and clinical operations.
  • Industry Knowledge

    : Experience with healthcare services, Ayurvedic, or nutritional product markets is a strong plus.
