Job Description

As a Group Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Vaidyaratnam, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision and innovative marketing programs for our diverse portfolio of businesses, including Ayurvedic pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, hospitals, e-commerce sales, and clinical services. Your role will involve collaborating with leadership teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and sales execution to achieve ambitious business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and Execute Group Strategy: Formulate and implement a cohesive sales and marketing strategy across all business units to drive long-term growth and profitability. - Brand & Portfolio Management: Oversee brand development, market positioning, and new product introductions for Ayurvedic drug and nutritional supplement portfolios. - Digital & E-commerce Strategy: Drive digital transformation and e-commerce strategies to maximize online sales and customer engagement. - Marketing Innovation: Lead the creation and execution of impactful marketing campaigns for hospital and clinic verticals. - Sales Coordination & Execution: Translate marketing strategies into measurable sales targets and programs for business unit Sales Teams. - Performance Management: Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives. - Market Insight: Guide market research efforts to identify consumer trends and translate insights into profitable strategies. - P&L Management: Assume ultimate P&L responsibility and optimize costs to drive revenue growth and profitability. - Business Unit Guidance: Mentor and guide individual business unit heads through strategic planning and execution processes. Qualifications and Experience: Essential Requirements: - Education: MBA degree from a reputed institution. - Sector Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership within FMCG or OTC pharmaceutical sectors. - Leadership Track Record: Proven experience in a senior leadership role. - Strategic Acumen: Ability to build complex strategies in a regulated environment. Highly Desirable: - Technical Background: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is beneficial. - Industry Knowledge: Experience in healthcare services, Ayurvedic, or nutritional product markets.
