Group Management Reporting

Role: Deputy Manager/ Manager Function: Group Management Reporting Experience: 5 to 8 years Location: Mumbai / Pune Shift time: 12 – 9 pm / 1- 10 PM IST Role Objective FP&A managers support the Head of Management reporting in tasks related to planning and reforecasting, re-financing and other corporate activities, Finance Landscapes and month end reporting. Assisting with managing projections, improving group reporting and assisting in ad hoc FP&A activities as the team needs. Professional Know-how Academic: B. Com Chartered Accountant Experience: At least 5-8 years’ experience post qualification experience as a controller / project accountant Knowledge of current regulations including IFRS, UK GAAP, and Companies Acts / Regulatory Licenses. Excellent knowledge of SAP & forecasting tools like BPC/ SAC/ Hyperion etc. Strong financial, analytical, communication and project management skills Working Relationships Internal: Group Finance Divisional Finance/ Business Team DFC/DFD External: Auditors External Authority Primary Responsibilities Responsible for collation / preparing the draft monthly flash, Executive committee and Board pack Ensuring the month-end reporting is effective to deliver quality reporting within deadlines Preparation and maintenance of the monthly reporting and forecasting timelines / communications Develop a collaborative relationship with Divisions / Business Units to understand their actual trading performance versus comparators (budget / prior year) and understand the drivers of their latest outturn reforecast Increase the understanding and use of functional reporting and direct / indirect analysis to improve the understanding of the Group’s cost base Be proactive in supporting the wider Management Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams outside of peak month end reporting requirements Other ad hoc group management reporting duties Key Behaviors & Capabilities/Skillset required at this level may include: Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience Audit or experience of operating financial controls Plc group experience Ability to work in a matrix organisation across multiple legal entities and business Experience of managing stakeholders across all levels of the organisation Demonstrably high level of written and verbal communication skills Innovative and creative thinker that provides solutions Show more Show less
